AOE and some manga spoiler stuff below:
Eren's jacket literally changes color between shots in the trailer. The jacket in the crying Eren scene is red, which lines up with kid Eren in the rest of the anime, (keep in mind the fact that Eren is sitting is different from the manga) but in the freedom scene, the jacket is definitely black. (to my knowledge, this shot is 1:1 from the manga) Knowing how the splitting of timelines and such is so heavily involved in AOE theories, this is pretty good evidence to the idea that different timelines may be directly involved in the adaptation itself.
I also don't think this is a "the trailer isn't the final product" situation in this specific case, as not only is the difference shown in shots that almost happen right after each other, but both of these scenes are very important to the manga.
This may turn out differently, but another thought I had is considering the fact that Eren is sitting, and that "see you later" is not foreshadowed at the beginning of the anime like it is in the manga, we may be looking at an alternate version of "see you later" that seems similar at first glance but has very different context for the rest of the story. We will have to wait for Part 3 to release for that, though.

With all that time they have, at least they fix some things at the ending. I know Mappa's been grabbing anime like Thanos collecting Infinity Stones with Jujutsu Kaizen, Chainsaw Man, Vinland Saga and all, but damn, this stretch is ridiculous.
Even The Walking Dead did exactly the same shit with it's final season and it's already over. I hope after all this time they do the best anime i've seen in my life, surpass Evangelion, Cowboy Bebop and shit.
