I enjoyed this movie a lot despite it being well over two hours long. Whitney was a mega – talent and she truly was "America's Sweetheart" IMO. Naomi Ackie did a great job portraying her. I'll buy the Blu-Ray when it comes out.

I'm from Indonesia. I don't understand why the low score was given by movie critics. I love how this movie portray the tragic, sad reality of Whitney Houston's life & downfall on the second half part of the movie. I thought the movie was such a real honest portrayal of the sad, tragic reality of what really happened to such a very talented singer diva of all the time. Of course if you just only want the bombastic happy-ending of cliche Hollywood movies, you won't find it here.
The scene where her mom asked “what was it like” and she says “the best feeling I ever knew” was not in the movie lol. Must’ve been cut out
