Avatar, looking forward to seeing. The new “A Christmas Story” is more like a B film. Turned it 20 mins in , this was trying to give it a chance.
I was part of the "Jesus Revolution". I still am. He still changes lives by the new birth of John 3. I was born again at this time as well as thousands of other young people. This movie, no matter who places their approval on it, is not a good image to place inside your head. It not what happened, but a "caricature". There is embellishment, and lies just in this preview (Pastor Chuck Smith never washed the feet of his listeners!). In plain English this is not how things really went down at Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Those giving their "approval" to buy a ticket to see this film are either making money off it, or in some way gaining power (having their name mentioned).
Here's my idea for a plot. The Democrats and Republicans recruit superheroes to fight who they each perceive as the "real" enemies. The Dems' heroes fight systematic and corporate corruption and destroyers of the ecology. The Repubs' fight crime and who they perceive as "anti-American terrorists." The final battle occurs when the two superhero groups clash over activists the Dems consider freedom fighters and the Repubs consider terrorists. Whatcha think?–Keith
