In season 3 Butcher was given only 12 – 18 months to live due to tumours from using V-24. So he can't survive for much longer than a season, maybe two at most.
Without Butcher "The Boys" simply wouldn't be the same, so I'm hoping that there's some miracle cure out there that will save Billy and keep "The Boys" together.
Hopefully that cure would also cure Karl Urban's appalling attempt at a cockney accent. 😃
