Box ticking and filled with political undertones.
Within the first few episodes the series touched on the plight of refugees and the churches stance on homosexuals. It's never Islam's stance on homosexuals, they never critique Islam and its stance, its always the easy target Christianity.
Usual virtue signalling bollox, usual woke tropes.
Haunting of Hill House, bly Manor or even Midnight Mass weren't filled with political undertones and weren't exercises in box ticking, so what's changed.
Boring show. No wonder it got cancelled.
Possum Kingdom has such a serial killer vibe but works so well in this trailer.

This is absolute trash beyond belief! I have tried with 3 episodes and wow I was bored! Actually angry at how crap it is. It's like it's a horror but made for kids…….. certainly nothing at all like his other work, actual trash.
I couldn't be the only one that caught a BUNCH of things these characters said that was truly gen z instead of being Gen X.

Glad I ran this on 1.5X and still just clicked trough it. The tendency of making tv-shows out of what could have been condensed to a movie was bad already, but it became so much worse when producers/directors/writers decided nothing needed to be wrapped up in a single season.
To clarify, none of the acting or the writing is bad, but it's just a huge waste of time.
Pitch the show to another network and make season 2!

Unlikeable characters who all share the same snarky sense of humor, which took away from the horror i was promised.
Especially the girl in the wheelchair was insufferable.
I had to stop watching after 3 episodes.

it would be a good series if they had good actors, Iman Benson is the worst, the face she makes when she screams and her emotions look always so fake, and she needs to scream more, not enogh screams in one scene 4/10
