  1. last night i watched this and i stg i was crying my eyes out by the end. tbh this whole thing felt like a panic attack waiting to happen to me

  2. I just saw this tonight and it was awesome, kinda has a Glee vibe to it. Johnathan was so ahead of his time, he wrote the most important musical on Broadway and he would have become an important figure in playwright and wrote more to bring awareness to today's issues if he hadn't died young. Rest in Peace Johnathan Larson there will always be one you ❤🎶🎸🕯🏳‍🌈

  3. I watched the show the lead role is pretty talented, he loves the camera a little bit too much. How is anyone supposed to believe that any guy in this film is straight? Great music. The story is kind of typical.

  4. I prayed for a movie of his life after watching "rent" for the one thousandth time ,I literally watched it Every day for a year, then the story of his short brilliant tragic life you can't make that up,signing on Netflix just to watch it! There is a god, thank you Jonathan Larson.

  5. I wish the Will Smith slap happened at a different award show, then Andrew Garfield would've won that well deserved Oscar! He was amazing in this film as the late, great Jonathan Larson!

  6. Andrew Garfield is a charismatic chameleon-he can truly act in any role and do it effortlessly. I feel his next role should be a retelling of the life of the late Michael Hutchence- INXS. Mystify us all Andrew !

  7. I could really connect with Jonathan Larson. When having to balance life and work, even my inner demons. It’s a book series I’ve been working on forever, and I never gave up on it. I would really hardly, focus on my writing career instead of things that I didn’t want to do like university or college. When being in the autism spectrum, I am trying my best to keep going.

  8. When I finally saw RENT's touring production, all the hype was unjustified. Especially amidst a huge trove of AIDS/gay-themed works in the 90s. Garfield's Under the Silver Lake is a masterpiece.
