I gotta say as someone who grew up in MD, Bernthals balmore accent is sounding good.
I recently rewatched the mini-series and it's even better the second time around. Now what I would like to see David Simon do if he can, is the same style as this but about the Seven Five Precinct.
I guess they only needed Jimmy, Bunk, and Lester.
Only the real Baltimore fans will get it.
This was the perfect character for Bernthal to play. Just outstanding acting. It’s like him playing his true self

This is a slow burner. I bailed it after 15 minutes on episode 1. They are using Jon Bernthal to promote this but I did not see him much before I got bored. The intro is legendary but then the whole thing flops.
